Check out my new Unboxing video from my Ulta haul and find out what I got. Hi all,
I have another Valentine's day inspired mani today, this one took me a while to do since each letter and tiny branch is a separate stamp but I'm really pleased with the final result. The base color is White (that's the name, don't blame me) from the Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Crayola Collection, then I added the letters with the Moyou London Typography 05. The rest is made from a mix of everything I had nearby so I won't list it here. Hi guys, I'm really excited about today's post cause I finally filmed another short tutorial and cause I really love how this mani turned out. It's inspired by Taylor Swift's outfit for this years VMAS (yes, I'm a swiftie). I gotta admit I didn't think I would do a houndstooth design in a long time cause I've used it several times before but when I saw her in the red carpet I knew I could use that for my nails, cause the pattern looked so festive and fun, also color appropriate for fall or a night out. What do you think of her outfit? I did a quick video tutorial for this mani that you can watch right here. I love how it sparkles and to be honest I never thought about a bronze to silver gradient before and I'm loving it, I'm pretty sure I can mix it up a bit for a halloween desing maybe... We'll see. Hope you enjoyed the video and the design. Let me know if you've ever been immediately inspired by someone's outfit like I was for this mani.
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, We have reached the end of the challenge with my untried #32. It's been fun posting on my blog everyday, for the next couple of weeks I might not be able to post daily but I do have a few things schedule so you don't miss me too much. My final untried (of the challenge not of my collection) is a polish I got on my last trip. Twisted pink is a hot pink creme with subtle gold shimmer. It was super hard to capture with my camera but it was more intense in real life. I used 3 coats. There's something about polishes with gold shimmer that always makes me get them. What do you think? Now to end with a bang here's a slideshow of all the polishes I used on this challenge. Hope you enjoyed all these polishes. And thank you so much for all your support. ♥♥
Adri. Hi guys, The sun is finally out today after a few days of clouds and rain which means I can keep swatching polishes non stop. Today's post is a gorgeous glitter from the Sally Hansen Gem Crush called Big Money, this collection came out a while ago but you can still get it pretty much anywhere I think. Big Money has a clear base and is packed with small lavender glitter and a ton of champagne micro glitter that makes it super shiny. The formula is a bit thick but it makes the polish wearable on it's own. I used 2 coats for this pics. I really like how sweet and different this polish is and the awesome coverage it has. I think it would make the perfect accent nail for some skittles manis.
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys!! I'm officially off work for the week and heading to a little vacay with the family which is awesome cause I'm super tired and in need to relax a bit. But fear not, I'll be posting my untrieds everyday as promised. Today's untried is one of the few textured polishes I own. I got this one for $1.50 at Ulta, score!! Cherry drop is a cherry red creme with a grainy texture, it was fully opaque with 2 coats. I gotta admit textured polishes are growing on me. Any suggestions of brands I should try?
Thanks for reading ! Happy Saturday! Do you have big plans for the weekend? I'm going to a BBQ at the in-laws which promises lots of food and fun. My kind of Saturday. Anyways, for today's untried I have Sally Hansen Kiwi Bikini (that name makes me giggle) which is a light green creme, it's leans towards turquoise instead of actual kiwi green but it's still pretty. Application was good, only 2 coats needed. Taking pictures of green/blue polishes is almost impossible, no matter how many angles and pics you take you never get the exact tone of the polish. This was as close as I could get to capture this pretty.
Do you like it? Thanks for reading ♥ Hey again! This will be the second post of the day, a polish that really surprised me cause I thought it was just another glitter but it's actually one of my fave polishes from the challenge. Be-Jeweled is a mix of super fine lilac glitter with small hex pink glitter that shines like diamonds. I just love it!! I wonder if I should get more of the Gem Crush polishes since I loved this one so much. What do u guys think?
Thanks again for reading <3 Happy Friday!!! I really don't have much to say today... I guess I'm still half asleep while I type this at work. Today I'm wearing China Glaze Fancy Pants and I love it. This polish is the only one that caught my attention instantly when I first saw swatches of this year's spring collection. I love purple polishes and if you add pink shimmer it's just perfect! Just look at it! While taking the first pics I thought to myself "I wish the pink shimmer was more intense" and then it happened... I remembered my Sally Hansen Sparkling Rose I had never tried either and added a coat. I couldn't just stop there, I was already in too deep so a coat of Essie Shine of times did the trick for the most awesome shimmery/flakie purple. I hope you love this as much as I do cause... flakies!!!
Go check out @shaylads untrieds on Instagram and Nicole's untrieds at My Nails My Polish Thanks for reading! Hi! It's so hot and sunny here lately (where I live it's summer) that I've been dreaming about the beach for the last few days, all the sand and the sun with an umbrella cocktail in one hand and a good book in another. Your toes and nails painted in some neon call everyone's attention color.... Enough daydreaming! My nails are inspired by the sea, I used a few polishes for this so I'm gonna list them below: Essie Turquoise and Caicos, 3 coats, base color Essie Shine Of Times, 1 coat, flakies. Zoya Breezi + CH4 for the waves Sally Hansen Sonic Boom + Mash 35 (starfish) and SH19 (fish) I love how this design turned out, I feel like the hidden flakies give it that sense of the sun hitting the water in a pool. What do you think?
